Family Fun Night #4

You know the old saying " the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."? That is how it went for this Family Fun Night. Initially Monkey and I were not going to be here, so I had planned something for them that they could do without us. Then everyone got the stomach flu and that meant we would all be here, together. Not the fun I was looking for though!

So I went ahead with most of our plans. The kids love Home Alone and it is easy to plan a night around a movie. This isn't my future plans, but it does keep us together and focused on being a family. I had planned on having pizza delivered, like in the movie. Instead I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup, pumpkin cream cheese pillows, and chai tea.

It is fun watching old movies with Koala because she gets such a kick out of them and we laugh harder watching her. It was nice to just hang out and enjoy just being together.

We didn't get any pictures of the night, but imagine all of us piled onto one small couch, covered in blankets, watching Home Alone and repeating all the lines then you get the picture!
